Small Scale and Filled with Emoition

I've always been drawn to sculpture quite considerably. Something about working in the round and being able to capture dynamic, exciting poses and postures in the round has always excited me. That said, a man by the name of Adam Beane is, what some would refer to as, the man. He mostly works commercialy and makes some rediculously detailed figures that are, on every level of what the words encompass, absurdily impressive. CHECK IT SON!

Thom Puckey and his Marble Friends

So this whole blogging thing is really just going to serve as a way for me to keep track of my own artistic likes, dislikes, and loves. It's become too hard to try and flip through my sketchbooks looking for that one artist that I saw that one time at that one gallery in order to revisit his work via the world wide web. Couldn't think of a better first post then this fella here. (For future reference, he goes by the name Thom Puckey and not fella). I was pretty astounded when I came across his sculptures. Beautiful marble carvings, sculptures of all sorts, modern views and weapons. O yea, it's money.
